About
Originally from Vermont, I began my teaching career working with middle and high school students with behavior issues and disabilities. I have since taught art to students at every age from 5th grade through grad school in classroom, studio, museum, and community environments.I remotely lead a master's-level Art Education program in San Francisco, where I train artists and designers to be teachers. My particular specialty is innovation in the classroom through responsible technology integration and constructivist approaches to training artists.For the last several years, my creative focus has been on craft and design, working in wood, glass and metal, as well as writing and photography, with the occasional foray into purely fine art printmaking and sculpture.
